On the 1920 census of Mantachie is farmer William Spradling age 51. Listed with him are wife "Delca" Spradling, age 52, daughter Lessie 16 and sons Willie 14 and Mitchell 11. Also in the household is a brother-in-law to Mr. Spradling, John Bennett. Delcie may be Delcie Bennett Spradling.
SPRADLING, Rena Francis, Block 18
Rena F. Spradling is listed as the two-year-old daughter of Omer D. and Dellie L. Spradling of Mantachie. The farming family in 1930 was enumerated along Tupelo-Guntown Road as Omer D. Spradling, 26, Dellie L., 25, Omer R., 6, Billie B., 4, and Rena F., 2.
WOOD, Mr., Block 18
This is either Walter Wood farmer of Beat 3 who lived on the Dorsey-Cardsville Road or Walter Wood merchant of Fulton.
WOOD, Mrs., Block 18
This is either Ethel L. Wood, wife of Walter Wood, a farmer from Beat 3 or Lucindia Wood, wife of Walter Wood, a merchant in Fulton.
