MORRIS, W.D., Block 30

The SSI Death Index lists W.D. Morris as born September 28, 1920. His last residence was Shannon, Lee County, Mississippi, where he died April 1, 2003. No additional information was found of W.D. Morris.

It is possible that the initials are reversed on the quilt and this is Dock Wheeler Morris 1898 - 1970 buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery next to Nola Margaret Morris according to Burton-Cruber.

Nola Margaret Morris 1896 - ___ is named next to Dock Wheeler Morris in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery listing by Burton-Cruber.

MORRIS, C.A., Block 30

Charles A. Morris 1920 - 1971 was the husband of Eleanor Boren Morris. According to IHS member Kermit McFerrin, he and Eleanor had two daughters, Carolyn and Janice.

Charles Morris 1920 - 1971 is buried at Itawamba Memorial Garden.

MORRIS, Clytie, Block 30

The names of C.A. Morris and Clytie Morris both on Block 30 is indication that they may be related. No information, however, was found on Clytie Morris of Itawamba County. More research is needed on Clytie Morris.
